Run Safer Asics Safety Tip #2 – Strike Key Targets
Today we are going to cover the targets on the body that you can go after if you’re ever attacked on the run, walk, or jog. The first target is the ears. Open hand slap to the ear as hard as you can to shock the attacker, because he doesn’t want any resistance at all. The second target is the eyes. Whatever you have to do to get into that person’s vision to buy yourself time and break free. The third target is going to be the nose. Just a hard shot with an open hand up and through the nose. Again, just to shock the attacker to buy yourself time. Your fourth target is going to be the throat with an open hand with a nice shot to push him to keep him away from you. And lastly is the groin shot, anyrime you can use your knee or feet to drive into that groin area, it’s going to build space so you can get yourself back into the safety zone.
