Confluence Running Partners with the Better Bins Recycling Program

Confluence Running is thrilled to announce its partnership with the Better Bins Recycling Program, an initiative dedicated to promoting sustainability within the running community. Originally launched in January 2024 by the Low Impact Alliance, the program has seen significant success, leading to its expansion under the management of Sneaker Impact. Starting January 1, 2025, Confluence Running will host designated Better Bins in-store, providing customers with a convenient way to recycle both footwear and apparel.

How the Better Bins Program Works

Participating in the Better Bins by Sneaker Impact program is straightforward and free of charge. Customers can drop off their unwanted sneakers and running apparel into the provided collection boxes at any Confluence Running location. Sneaker Impact handles the recycling process, ensuring that items are either refurbished for a second life or repurposed into new products through their circular materials program. This initiative not only reduces waste but also supports micro-entrepreneurs in over 20 countries by providing them with refurbished footwear to sell.
