About the Wool
Harmony - Skin soft extra fine Merino wool, Italian spun.
Luxurious Italian spun merino wool, the softest merino there is. By exclusively using the finest yarn, combined with our unique knitting techniques, we have reduced pilling to a degree normally not experienced with such soft yarns. Naturally, our wool is mulesing-free. Garments knitted with Harmony can be machine washed using wool-cycle. (Fiber diameter: 19.5 micron)
History
The Mount Rossnos sweater is inspired by one of the oldest Norwegian sweaters, called the Fana sweater. The design is typical for west coast Norway, with its eight-petal rose pattern and stripes. It is believed the stripe pattern was brought to Norway by French sailors.
Mount Rossnos is a peak on west coast Norway offering great views over the Folgefonna glacier and the surrounding fjords.
